Broome Beaches

A popular place for Broome visitors is the stunning Cable Beach looking out over the Indian Ocean and 22kms of sand. Take a long stroll on the beach and dip your toes in the warm ocean waters whilst the daylight fades.

Gantheaume Point is known for its deep pindan red cliffs set against the shimmering turquoise ocean below. Here you can find the dinosaur footprints preserved for 130 million years in reef rock visible at low tide at the bottom of the cliffs.

Entrance Point Beach is located near the Broome Port and is well known for its unusual rock formations, fishing and beautiful sunsets. 

The calm refreshing waters are ideal for swimming or paddling with the children, and the lack of crowds makes this well kept secret spot an idyllic location. 
If you time your visit at high tide, you may be fortunate to witness a spectacular phenomenon when the ocean meets the pindan cliffs and the red colour bleeds into the normally crystal blue waters. 

This pretty little beach is located a few minutes’ drive from the centre of the town and overlooks the stunning turquoise coloured Roebuck Bay.
